Our precious
babies and toddlers deserve nothing less than safe, gentle
and effective skin care products that don't irritate
and dry out their sensitive skin. Our skin is the
largest organ of
the body and everything
that goes onto it gets absorbed into the blood stream, so it's
important
that the products we do use on our skin are as close to nature
as
possible and aren't
laden with toxic chemicals.
Bumble Bees products contain NO petro-chemicals, parabens, glycols, mineral oils, synthetics, sulfates, artificial colour, artificial fragrance, animal ingredients, alcohol, talc, herbal extracts (commonly prepared in a base of either propylene glycol or alcohol), synthetic vitamin e, siliconwa (dimethicone and others) and many other chemical additives commonly found in baby skin care products. We use organic essential oils, organic cold pressed vegetable and plant oils like macadamia nut, jojoba and rosehip and we avoid oils like hazelnut and peanut which are sometimes linked to skin irritation and allergies. Our cocoa and shea nut butters are as organic and pure as they get; they have not been refined, bleached or deodorised and as a result may appear in the final product with occasional dark specs or particles. We assure you that they are harmless and completley natural.

We only use pure plant products to create our formulations and as such must have a preservation system that follows our ethics. The preservatives we use in our skin care are pure and natural. We use a combination of natural vitamin E, rosemary leaf extract and plantaserve Q (the latest innovative GMO free, natural, broad spectrum preservative which is a proprietary formulation of several naturally occurring herbal extracts including almond and vanilla), the product is called Plantserve Q and is registered with several recognised organisations as a GMO free and totally natural herbal preservative) which provide very effective protection against bacteria, mould and rancidity. We then enrich our products with natural vitamin e and rosemary extracts which give our products a high level of protection against rancidity. We recommend storing our products away from direct sunlight and using them within 18 months. for the skin. We hand picked extra rich oils such as carrot, apricot and wheatgerm
and blended in centella, sweet orange, frankincense and neroli.
